Welcome to the Dungeon
You check today’s schedule.
Spellcasting.
Magical Creatures.
Lunch.
Then:
Advanced Potions – Dungeon Level Three
Of course it’s in the dungeon.
Why wouldn’t it be?
Apparently nobody who designed the School of Wizardry thought:
“Maybe students would prefer potion class somewhere with windows.”
You put on your House of Snake Long Sleeve T-Shirt and head downstairs.
One staircase.
Two staircases.
Three staircases.
Temperature continues dropping.
Eventually, you reach the classroom.
Stone walls.
Ancient shelves.
Rows of cauldrons.
Mysterious bottles.
Something bubbling in the corner that absolutely does not belong to a student.
The professor enters.
“Today’s assignment will test your resourcefulness.”
Interesting.
Every student receives a box.
Inside are several potion ingredients.
The professor continues:
“You must brew a successful Silver Transformation Potion.”
Easy enough.
You open your textbook.
Check the recipe.
Then check your ingredients.
Problem.
No silverroot.
You raise your hand.
“Professor, we’re missing silverroot.”
“I know.”
Of course.
Another student says:
“But the potion requires silverroot!”
The professor smiles.
“Then I suppose you’ll need another solution.”
Ah.
Now it’s a House of Snake assignment.
Everyone begins searching through textbooks.
You think.
Silverroot provides stability during transformation.
What else has stabilizing properties?
Moonleaf?
Possibly.
But raw moonleaf reacts badly with dragon pepper.
There is dragon pepper in the recipe.
Problem.
Unless…
you add it later.
You adjust the sequence.
Moonleaf first.
Stir.
Wait.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Dragon pepper last.
Carefully.
Very carefully.
The potion bubbles.
Turns gray.
Then silver.
Excellent.
The student beside you looks over.
“How did you do that?”
You shrug.
“Changed the plan.”
That’s resourcefulness.
The professor walks past.
Stops.
Examines your cauldron.
“Interesting.”
That’s either very good…
or extremely bad.
Then the professor asks:
“Why did you add the dragon pepper last?”
You explain.
They nod.
“Good.”
Excellent.
No explosion.
Strong academic performance.
Next challenge:
Every student receives a sealed vial.
“Your potion must go inside this vial.”
There’s a problem.
The vial won’t open.
Students immediately start casting unlocking spells.
Nothing.
Another spell.
Nothing.
Someone tries pulling the stopper with both hands.
Still nothing.
House of Snake examines the bottle.
Turns it over.
Looks underneath.
Tiny writing:
PRESS BEFORE TURNING.
You press.
Twist.
Pop.
Open.
Sometimes the greatest magical ability is simply:
Reading the tiny instructions.
Class ends.
You pack your things.
Then notice a small door at the back of the dungeon.
You’ve never seen it before.
No handle.
No sign.
Just a tiny serpent carved into the stone.
Interesting.
A classmate notices you staring.
“Don’t.”
“What?”
“Whatever you’re thinking.”
“I’m not thinking anything.”
They stare at you.
You’re absolutely thinking something.
Could be a storage room.
Could be a secret passage.
Could lead beneath the castle.
Could contain ancient magical artifacts.
Could contain a mop.
There’s really only one way to know.
You walk toward it.
Then stop.
Not today.
Why?
Because House of Snake isn’t just curious.
House of Snake knows timing matters.
You make a mental note.
Research the door.
Find an old castle map.
Learn what’s behind it.
Then come back prepared.
That’s strategy.
The House of Snake Ultra Cotton Long Sleeve T-Shirt celebrates witches and wizards who understand that determination doesn’t mean blindly charging forward.
Observe.
Think.
Adapt.
Use what you have.
Choose your moment.
And if Plan A fails?
Good thing you already considered B, C, and possibly D.
Wear it while gaming.
Exploring.
Planning.
Attending fantasy events.
Heading out on cool-weather adventures.
Or working toward some enormous goal that everyone else thinks is impossible.
Impossible?
Maybe.
But House of Snake has a plan.
HOUSE OF SNAKE.
Wizarding school pride.
Cool-weather comfort.
Clever ambition.
Stay sharp. Think ahead. Make your move.
