The Littlest Lion at the School of Wizardry
Welcome to the School of Wizardry Infant Academy.
Enrollment requirements:
One baby.
One House of Lion Bodysuit.
Several toys.
Approximately seventeen burp cloths.
And one exhausted parent who hasn’t finished a cup of coffee while it’s still hot in several months.
Today’s first lesson:
TUMMY TIME.
Your tiny House of Lion wizard is placed carefully on the floor.
In front of them sits a colorful toy dragon.
Objective:
Reach dragon.
Distance:
Approximately three feet.
Baby looks at dragon.
Dragon looks at baby.
Challenge accepted.
Tiny arms move.
Tiny legs kick.
Nothing happens.
Baby tries again.
Still nothing.
A lesser wizard might quit.
Not House of Lion.
Baby makes determined noise.
“GAAAAAH.”
Translation:
I WILL CONQUER THIS DISTANCE.
Kick.
Wiggle.
Push.
Somehow move backward six inches.
Unexpected.
Baby stops.
Confused.
Dragon is now farther away.
This is unacceptable.
Another attempt.
Kick.
Push.
Wiggle.
Turn sideways.
Roll over.
Success?
Technically no.
But progress.
You move the dragon slightly closer.
Baby notices.
One heroic stretch.
Tiny fingers grab dragon.
Victory.
Dragon immediately goes into mouth.
Naturally.
Lesson complete.
Next class:
MAGICAL CREATURES.
Today’s creature?
The family cat.
Cat enters room.
Baby freezes.
Cat freezes.
They stare at one another.
This is diplomacy at the highest level.
Baby smiles.
Cat remains unconvinced.
Baby reaches.
Cat steps backward.
Baby reaches farther.
Cat steps backward again.
Baby makes excited squeal.
Cat looks toward you.
Its expression clearly says:
Control your wizard.
Baby begins crawling.
Well…
attempting to crawl.
Cat retreats.
Baby advances.
This becomes a pursuit.
Eventually, the cat jumps onto the couch.
Baby stops.
Looks up.
Impossible height.
For now.
Baby pats the floor.
Cat watches from above.
A temporary truce has been established.
Magical Creatures lesson:
Successful.
Next:
FLYING LESSONS.
Absolutely not.
Baby has different opinion.
You place them on the couch beside you.
Baby immediately notices the edge.
Why?
Because babies possess an ancient magical ability to detect the most dangerous object in any room.
Baby begins moving toward it.
You redirect.
Baby turns back.
Redirect.
Back again.
Apparently the edge of the couch contains ancient treasure.
You block the path with a pillow.
Baby examines pillow.
Obstacle.
Interesting.
Climbs onto pillow.
You stare.
“Seriously?”
Baby grins.
House of Lion sees obstacles differently.
You pick them up.
Flying lesson canceled.
Baby protests.
Next class:
POTION STUDIES.
Bottle prepared.
Temperature checked.
Baby sees bottle.
Eyes widen.
This is the most powerful potion in existence.
You sit down.
Baby drinks.
Peace.
Calm.
Everything is right in the magical kingdom.
Then you remove the bottle for approximately half a second.
Baby looks betrayed.
Utterly betrayed.
“How could you?”
The potion is immediately returned.
Diplomatic crisis resolved.
Then comes the day’s most difficult challenge.
NAP TIME.
You dim the room.
Rock baby gently.
Tiny eyes begin closing.
Excellent.
You wait.
Baby asleep.
Carefully…
very carefully…
you approach the crib.
Lower baby.
Six inches.
Four inches.
Two inches.
Almost there.
Baby’s eyes open.
Instantly.
Wide.
Alert.
You freeze.
Baby smiles.
No.
Please.
You’ve been discovered.
You pick baby back up.
Eyes close.
Attempt two.
Lower.
Slowly.
Carefully.
Baby reaches mattress.
Success.
You remove one hand.
Still asleep.
Second hand.
Still asleep.
You take one step backward.
Baby sneezes.
Eyes open.
You stare at each other.
Baby laughs.
House of Lion fears nothing.
Including sleep deprivation.
Eventually…
finally…
tiny wizard falls asleep.
One little fist tucked beside their face.
House of Lion crest proudly displayed.
Completely peaceful.
You look down at them.
Hard to believe this tiny person spent the entire day battling dragons, pursuing magical creatures, challenging gravity, demanding potions, and defeating your nap schedule.
But that’s baby bravery.
Everything is new.
Every sound.
Every face.
Every movement.
Every texture.
Every room.
Every experience.
Babies spend their days exploring a world they barely understand.
They fall down.
Try again.
Reach farther.
Learn.
Discover.
Trust.
And somehow keep finding new adventures.
That’s the spirit behind the House of Lion Baby Bodysuit.
It’s for the littlest adventurers.
The tiny explorers.
The determined crawlers.
The fearless grabbers.
The curious investigators.
And the babies who haven’t learned what “danger” means yet…
which is why parents remain extremely important members of the adventure.
Wear it for tummy time.
Family outings.
Playdates.
Cuddles.
Photos.
Nap attempts.
Baby’s first fantasy event.
Or another exciting expedition across the living-room floor.
Because even the smallest wizard can have a lion-sized heart.
HOUSE OF LION.
Tiny wizard.
Little roar.
Brave heart.
Small beginnings. Big adventures. Courage starts here.
